Jilian Michaels from the Biggest Loser Reality TV show has her 30 day Shred DVD that claims you will lose 20 pounds in 30 days. There are three progressive levels, but you don’t have to finish one level to go on to the next. A lot of people jump around to add some variety to their workouts. Each level is 20 minutes of strength, cardio and ab routines.
These are real workouts, you will know you’ve worked out after 20 minutes. If you’ve seen Jillian on TV you know she is about the basics. The dance moves are simple so anyone can keep up. If you’re going to lose weight you have to diet as well. You can’t eat cheeseburgers and ice cream think you can lose weight with 20 minutes of exercise. Not going to happen!
The cardio is a lot of high impact, but Jillian does show modified low impact versions of the same routines. I’m not going to even mention the music in any of these reviews because no matter what kind of music anyone puts on an exercise video, there will be some people that don’t like it. Learn the routines and put your own music on.
